Trees

Mosty’s has a large selection of fresh, well-rooted container trees, including Oaks, Elms, Cypress, Redbuds, Pistache, Crape Myrtles and more. We offer a variety of excellent choices that will fit each landscaping need, whether it is for residential or commercial properties. We also offer field-grown, balled and burlapped trees in the winter months.

Shrubs

Mosty’s woody shrubs offer a variety of landscaping styles to offset the larger trees. Whether flowering or not, our varieties remain green all year long. Texas Sage, Wax Myrtle, Hollies, Viburnums are just a few of the healthy shrubs available. We can assist with determining which shrub is best for which Texas soils. We also offer a variety of succulents including Cacti, Agaves, Sotols and Yuccas.

Grasses

Mosty’s carries ornamental grasses that are best suited for any Hill Country landscape project. Our Gulf Muhly, Lindheimer Muhly, Pine Muhly, and Miscanthus grasses offer perfect ground cover with drought-tolerance and eye-catching good looks. With our dry, hot summers, these grasses will remain healthy and thriving.

Perennials

Adding color to landscape plans is easy with Mosty’s beautiful selections of perennials – from hearty Salvia, Lantana, and Esperanza to River Fern – all offer a contrast to the rocky soil and dry conditions found in Central Texas. The New Process

Fabric Aeration Containers

We now grow each tree in specially designed fabric containers that protect and preserve the root structure, maintain healthy soil biology, and support a more successful transplant. When it’s time to dig, the root control bag keeps up to 90% of the root system intact, reducing transplant shock and setting your tree up for long-term success. Best of all, these trees are available for purchase year-round.
